Top 5 NBA player performances for December 6

There were just three games on the slate for Thursday, December 6. Below is a look at the five players with the biggest contributions for their teams in those games.

Derrick Favors – Utah Jazz

Give it up for Favors, as he not only turned in one of the best performances of the evening, but he came off the bench to do so. Favors finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a Jazz win over the Rockets.

Al Horford – Boston Celtics

Celtics All-Star Al Horford brought one of the best performances of the night. It was also his season-best. Horford scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting, grabbed 12 rebounds, had four blocks, and dished out three assists as Boston beat New York, 128-100.

Damian Lillard – Portland Trail Blazers

Lillard seemed to have been quiet for a while, but not on Thursday. The Blazers guard scored 25, dished out eight assists, and grabbed five rebounds to help his team defeat the Phoenix Suns.

Kyrie Irving – Boston Celtics

Irving also earned one of the top performance spots of the night based on his work against the Knicks. The Celtics star scored 22 points, assisted his teammates on eight baskets, and hit three shots from downtown in the win.

Tim Hardaway Jr. – New York Knicks

Even though the Knicks lost, Tim Hardaway Jr. was the top scorer of the game for his team. The son of the former NBA star scored a team-high 22 points on 7-of-19 shooting, gave out two assists, grabbed a rebound, and stole the ball once.
